Well the guy sent them via the regular United States Postal Service, the laziest people in the galaxy. And they didn't deliver it -- although it was guaranteed -- because of RAIN.
They are refunding the $25 it cost to express mail it and it will be here tomorrow morning.

Trent is old! Not as old as Peter Murphy, when I saw him.

No man, Trent is HOT! You should have seen him. He was muscular and toned and much better looking than his skinny days.
The show was awesome! Second only to the time I saw David Bowie and was just 10 feet away from him.
He didn't do an encore which was weird since the audience clearly loved him. I think it was because he had some microphone issues. He likes to throw his equipment around which sends stagehands scurrying around to fix things. But they hooked up a mic that didn't work and he threw the mic stand across the stage and walked off. This was during Closer. They had to restart the song.
Then he jumped into the crowd! It was amazing. :D
He played all my favorite songs (Closer, Reptile, Head like a Hole) and the only one missing was the one in my sig, Mr. Self Destruct.

And Peter Murphy is way old and it shows. But he's still got his voice.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it.
Got tickets to see them play over here in the UK and I've been really looking forward to it.
Out of curiosity, how balanced was the set? Was it likealmost all stuff from With Teeth? Or was it a fair mix from throughout their career? Because I went to see Nick Cave a while ago and while the show was very good, I was a little disappointed that it was almost all stuff from The Lyre of Orpheus/Abbatoir Blues. Still a great show though.

He played a variety, and even some stuff that's old and rare. Not all of it was from the latest CD. :)
You can post your review when you see it!

This is a thread I'm bumping. How nice to see it's here already. I caught all but one show when they were here in Australia for the with_teeth tour. (I think it was the second leg, but I couldn't be sure.)

I'm glad you took up my offer, Elisa. There are a few NIN fans here on the site, so you should feel at home.
I already have tickets to their summer show which is dropping by here on June 6th, so I am excited about it. I'm even more excited that Bauhaus is opening for them. I think that is the best line up for this summer in my opinion.
Anyway, lurk around here some more. We're glad to have you. :D

I have a ticket for that as well, front row, near center. I can't wait. :]
