So...because the first thread was killed in the post purge... here's a new one.

I got a speeding ticket... Argh... Just 13 km/h too fast and have to pay 20 Euro for that.

My house is next to an elementary school and school is still in session. Try reading outside, trying to get some sun and hear 20 to 30 kids screaming for no reason other than to scream. I don't remember being that loud as a kid...

Samantha Koortyn

That would be hell for me too.

Corran Antilles

I have a playground next to the house too. I have no problems with the noises of playing kids. There are way worse sounds than that. And hey...I bet you have been loud too as child. I know I was. ;)

Worse sounds? Oh yeah.

These two obnoxious chicks live in the flat above me, and they seem to feel the need to play R&B loud enough that you can hear Usher breathing from a block away. It's not just that I hate R&B, nor the fact that they're up and about, playing their terrible music till past 24:00 every.single.night, while I'm trying to get some bloody work done. I could probably handle all of that. What really gets me is that the one sings along. Constantly. Loudly. BUT SHE"S COMPLETELY FRIGGIN TONE DEAF!!! GAAAH!

*Pulls out hair*

Corran Antilles

Yeah, something like that.

The neighbours above me are from Russia or Poland or somewhere there. And they "love" to shout at each other in their native language in the middle of the night and throwing things. I had my hand on the phone already to call the police as they went silent then.

Samantha Koortyn
06-08-2005, 05:43 PM
I was never a child.

Luckily I don't have to worry about loud neighbors. In fact, I always worry that I'm the annoying one whose dog is always barking.

Only one thing to complain about...

I, a disgruntled college student, had to get up at 8:45 this morning (not early by most standards, but for summer it is) and had to work at 10 through 5 pm on the hottest day so far. The temp at work, a miserable 135 F

Corran, if some couple was shouting at each other here, one of them is liable to be arrested for domestic violence.

Corran Antilles
06-09-2005, 12:24 PM
I know. But when you can't understand what they are shouting, it's hard to say how serious the fight is.

Ynnek Rellim
06-12-2005, 11:59 PM
Two people didn't show up for work so I had to go in early on 6 hours of sleep in clothes I had no time to wash AND finally get home at 10 hours later with the understanding that I have another day added to my stretch, totaling to 7 days at work.... *breaks down in tears*

Jerva Kutac
06-13-2005, 03:11 AM
I don't think that it would matter how what they were shouting about.

Meh. Where is the summer? It's raining.

Samantha Koortyn
06-13-2005, 10:04 AM
Sorry to year that Ynnek.

Corran Antilles
06-13-2005, 01:21 PM
Yeah, that's bad. What are you working, Ynnek?

Han Antilles
06-13-2005, 05:44 PM
The air conditioning went kaput today. The air conditioning company said they won't have techs to service it until Wednesday.

So that means I have to suffer in the heat.

Ynnek Rellim
06-13-2005, 05:48 PM
I'm working at a seafood restaruant as food prep, expaditor, cook, carryout, steamer, and anything else they need me for.

Speaking of air conditioning... The East Coast is BLAZING right now.... Wicomico County Schools actually closed early here in MD cause it's so hot (well, mainly cause they have no AC in 1/3 of their schools).

Samantha Koortyn
06-14-2005, 10:12 PM
I'm out of Q-Tips. I can't live without them. Argh.

Jerva Kutac
06-15-2005, 03:36 AM
Hah. I can gloat because I don't have anything to complain about. :-P

Corran Antilles
06-23-2005, 01:13 PM
The steering wheel of my car was so hot of the sun, that I could hardly touching it, while driving home.

Corran Antilles
07-16-2005, 02:39 PM
My ordered Harry Potter didn't arrived today. *growls*

Samantha Koortyn
07-17-2005, 05:01 PM
Argh, that sucks.

Han Antilles
07-18-2005, 01:37 PM
And I saw it this weekend while I was reading magazines.

Corran Antilles

Out of boredom I was looking through the Star Wars stories on fanfiction.net. You wonder now, how that annoyed me? When I read post of the summary I can just roll my eyes. To the writers there: Learn to spell the names of the characters and places, you are writing about! It's Anakin, not Anikin. It's Obi-Wan, not Obi Wan or Obi-wan. It's Darth Sidious, not Sidios. It's Corellia, not Correlia. Tatooine, not Tattooin!

Argh, okay... enough ranting.

Samantha Koortyn
08-14-2005, 02:57 PM
Well most of them are probably 12.

Han Antilles
08-14-2005, 04:04 PM
And these corrupted avatars are driving me up the wall. Stupid server transfer.

Samantha Koortyn
08-23-2005, 07:58 AM
You know what drives me absolutely crazy?

Going to a roleplaying site that purports to be for quality writers only (in fact, stressing "quality over quantity of posts" as an excuse for why they're sort of dead), and seeing grammatical and spelling errors on the front page (therefore obviously made by a staff member), sentences that actually make no sense whatsoever, and an admin who says things like "see u later, ur a good friend."

Gah.

I was banned from the local library for getting in a fight with some idiot petitioner.

Jude
08-23-2005, 08:28 AM
Having to deal with idiot drunks at pubs all night and seem to think taking a knife to an officer is a good idea.

Getting a whip cream container to the face just cause its my 2nd to last day at work... and the whip cream melted. And with today being my last.... I'm getting more than whip cream. I'm thinking, pickle juice, muffin mix, eggs, flour, water, water, water, and ..... I dunno, something new they said. FUN!

Jude
08-23-2005, 12:07 PM
Someone letting ice cubes melt on the floor so at 2 A.M. when you get a glass of water you slip, break the glass and bust your ass.

Hey that rhymes.

Han Antilles
08-23-2005, 12:20 PM
I hate when I open up my lunch and find my sandwich completely soggy. The tomatoes inside made the bread mushy.

Yech.

Jude
08-23-2005, 12:34 PM
Eww, I hate that too.

Silus
08-23-2005, 12:38 PM
A co-worker burns out at work and stares at the wall for four hours. I now have to take over his workload while he's on holiday.

Han Antilles
08-23-2005, 12:39 PM
Wow. Your job is that rough, eh?

Silus
08-23-2005, 12:40 PM
Unfortunately.

But you have to eat somehow.

Jude
08-23-2005, 12:42 PM
Pfft, eat? What is this concept of which I know nothing about?!

Samantha Koortyn
08-23-2005, 01:28 PM
Yeah, soggy tomatoes can really ruin a sandwich.

Cyan Madine
08-23-2005, 02:14 PM
That's why I don't eat tomatoes. (Actually, I just don't like them...)

Samantha Koortyn
08-23-2005, 02:23 PM
Oh I love tomatoes otherwise.

Kix Davin
08-23-2005, 02:35 PM
Use pickles, instead.

Samantha Koortyn
08-23-2005, 03:58 PM
Pickles can make the bread soggy too. Besides I like both.

The trick is to put the lettuce on top of everything. It forms a protective shield.

Jude
08-23-2005, 05:32 PM
Aye, it is.

Cyan Madine
08-23-2005, 05:37 PM
Pickles are even worse... *makes a face* =P

Someone in my neighborhood has decided to blow an airhorn repeatedly. Their taste in 'music' is rather intriging. Now to find those earplugs.

ISB Agent
08-23-2005, 11:35 PM
You want bad neighbors, Wen? People in my apartment complex think that you're supposed to throw garbage in front of the dumpster, not in it. And don't get me started about the ones who flick their cigarette butts onto my patio....

I hate when you go drive-thru and find out when you get to your destination, the order is wrong.

Grrr. Must not go to the dark side.

Samantha Koortyn
08-24-2005, 12:20 PM
I have a corollary to yesterday's rant of mine, although this one isn't annoying, it's funny.

I love when a roleplaying board has an error in spelling in their banner. It's just so ironic.

Corran Antilles
08-24-2005, 12:28 PM
Maybe dyslexic roleplayers?

Samantha Koortyn
08-24-2005, 12:56 PM
No, it was a sheer stupidity error that I see pretty often. A lot of people do it.

Jodi Sariss
08-24-2005, 02:15 PM
Or maybe Sasha's little habit is spreading.
