Seriously, I have been trying like hell to restore my database -- the real one that I backed up just before wiping everything -- but everything I try, every single help page I print from phpbb.com, gives me an error. I have posted a question in their (not very) helpful forums and this is it. If they can't help me this time, I am afraid that I will have to start completely from scratch with an empty board. Since ezboard has @#%$ up the boards I exported the first time around. :(

I will still get you what I can salvage of your stuff Simon if this doesn't work. I was just still hoping the stupid board could be returned. And I understand if you never post again on my board. :)

You might want to shoot Kas over at Vinda Corp/TRF a note on your troubles.. he's way more computer saavy than I (which doesn't say much but...) and he may have an idea or two depending on what your errors are.

I would ask him but I think he's mad at me because I didn't return to that Tobal thread he started years ago. I had no idea it was supposed to be such a major thread for his character, I thought he just did me a favor LOL and I flaked on him. :doh
