DuPont Innovations, a large foundry based in Naboo, has issued a statement from it's CEO that the company has developed their first prototype war droid for the defense of the planet. Mr. DuPont has also stated the company will no longer build speeders or vehicles for export, anymore.

According to the statement, King Tymen has given DuPont Innovations sole contract to produce a droid army for the sole purpose of keeping Naboo secure. In the aftermath of two invasions from the Trade Federation, Tymen has justified that creating a droid army would be best for the Naboo.

"It is of utmost importance that Naboo remains secure especially after what the Trade Federation has done to us in the past," Tymen stated to a GNN correspondant via holotransmission. "The first prototype has been approved and we are now starting our first production of war droids. The Naboo and the Gungans will now not need worry about anymore invasions. The newly appointed senator of Naboo will soon address the senate when he arrives on Coruscant about our intentions. There is no need for the New Republic to be concerned about an arms build."

As for the two Jedi dispatched by the Jedi Academy, Tymen merely stated: "There has been no word about any arrival by the Jedi. If we were to have visitors, I would have been notified. But– I see no need for the Jedi Academy to be concerned as Jedi Master Adena Tadrro still remains at my side as my aide and counselor."

The two Jedi dispatched have still not made contact to this day. The Jedi Academy has not issued a statement yet on this occurance.

DuPont Innovations has refused to disclose the design of their newest prototype and have refused any New Republic representatives to inspect the model. DuPont cites they wish to keep their design secret in case of coorperate theft.
