Neimoidian Authorities are still looking for the unnamed Jedi suspect involved in the explosion that resulted in the death of 18.  The Neimoidian authorities have went before the New Republic in hopes to persecute the Jedi Order about their role in this.  The Jedi Order has agreed that a Jedi Knight was sent to Cato Neimoidia to escort those individuals; however they report that they haven’t received or heard from the Jedi since two days before the explosion.  This is causing many to believe that the Jedi are protecting the Rogue Jedi who now is the prime suspect in the investigation.  

In relation to this developing story, authorities have detained a suspect who could have possibly worked along side the unnamed Jedi in the explosion. This detained suspect had in his possession files that outlined the agenda for three of the victims.  It was recently confirmed that the explosion that occurred last week on a private landing pad Cato Neimoidia was in fact an assassination attempt and contained ties with the black market.  After a number of tips, detectives were able to track down a suspect in local cantina near the suspect’s apartment.  When the authorities raided the resident of the suspect they found large amounts of death sticks and illegal contraband outlawed by the New Republic.  Authorities are still withholding the suspects name from all media however we have received information that the Jedi have offered their aide in the investigation.

The crime itself as mentioned before occurred on a private landing pad.  Sources say around early morning.  After receiving contact from a Jedi Knight, the nine high ranking Neimoidians met with the unnamed Jedi at the pad along with their bodyguard.  Minutes later the Jedi’s ship exploded killing the nine officers and their bodyguards.  Authorities quickly secured the area although the Jedi was no where to be found.  They have discovered that the ship the Jedi used was reported stolen two days before the attack.  The owner of the stolen ship gave authorities a description that matched the unnamed Jedi seen by a hidden camera.  Authorities are now looking for a human male, 5’8, long brownish black hair, dressed in a brown tunic.    Police still have yet to find the Jedi and has put his desctiption through out the media on the planet.  If anyone has any information about the whereabouts of this Jedi to contact their local authorities immediately.

In other news police are still perplexed on the recent murder rampage on Neimoidia.  They seem not to be able to find any relation between the murders.  Police aren’t giving any information, just warning residents to be aware of there surroundings, and not to engage themselves with any unknown persons.  The autopsy report details the extent on the murders including the notorious signature of the killer the missing brains of all the victims.  Stay tuned to updates from Holonet News, Your Number One News Station for what’s going on in the galaxy…
