Tarsk Mal'fey, chairman and CEO of Mal'fey Shipping & Trade, an intergalatic shipping and trading corperation based on Corsucant, is hosting a benefit dinner party to raise funds for new upgrades to his intergalactic network, which was rumored to be sabotaged in past news reports by members of the New Republic.

Mr. Mal'fey indicated in a press statement this morning that he is personally inviting a representative of the New Republic investigative staff to the event, in a clear gesture he is holding nothing against them until investigations are finally completed. As of now, charges are still pending against the accused until matters are either proven true or false.

The dinner party will be hosted at the Mal'fey Tower on the top level. Donations will be taken at the front entrance. Security will be doubled during the event, for fear of new acts against the galaxy's top shipping corperation.

"In time, with the cooperation of the New Republic, I am sure this matter will be settled in a civilized manner. Justice will be seen in the end, as with all past events in the galaxy. For now, I extend my company's invitation to all. There will be plenty of food, drink, and entertainment to be well worth any donation," Mal'fey stated on CNN's Good Morning, Coruscant!

An invitation has been sent out to Leia Organa Solo, Chief of State of the New Republic. No comment has been made if she will attend or not.
